The Accelerator for Enterprising Women invites young women from around Australia to submit their entrepreneurial or business ideas into the Kickstarter Challenge for the chance to turn your passion into your profession!

Have you got a business or entrepreneurial idea you’ve always wanted to bring to life? Submit your idea into the Kickstarter Challenge, share your idea on socials to be in to win a finalist spot in one of the five categories listed below.

The 5 lucky finalists will win the opportunity of a lifetime to attend a National Advocacy Workshop and pitch their ideas to decision makers in Canberra! The winners will receive the support to bring their idea to life including a share in $60,000 of seed capital funding, mentorship opportunities and much much more!

Attend one of five Summits around the country. Be inspired by leading women in business and entrepreneurship. Begin to develop your idea in the Kickstarter Ideation Sessions.

Incubator Workshops
Register for a FREE Incubator Workshop near you and participate in a masterclass in branding, prototyping and developing your business model. by the end of these workshops you’ll be ready to submit your idea into the Kickstarter Challenge!
April – August
Submit
Submit your entrepreneurial or business idea into the Kickstarter Challenge via the website upload form and be in to WIN one of five spots for the Grand Final in Canberra!
August – September
Voting Period
With five voting categories and five finalist spots up for grabs you’ve got to be in it to win it! Share your submission in socials to be in to win the popular vote, while a panel of expert judges will select the remaining four finalists.
April – October
Grand Final

Judging categories

Popular Vote

Share your idea far and wide on socials to be in to win the popular vote category. The submission with the greatest social reach will win.

Implementation

To earn high marks in the Implementation category, demonstrate how you will successfully implement your idea by providing a feasible timeline, potential challenges and solutions, explanation of who is working on the project (team members and/or mentors) and an appropriate budget.

Sustainability & Impact

To earn high marks in the Impact category, be sure to explain the expected impact for your idea, metrics for how you will evaluate your success, how your idea will be sustained over time and any potential environmental impacts to be considered.

Innovation

To earn high marks in the Innovation category, demonstrate a compelling need for your innovative concept, think outside the box with your solution and explain your idea clearly and concisely.

Presentation

To earn high marks in the presentation category, be sure that your submission is clear, consistent, effective and aesthetically pleasing.
