Dina Gregson
Founder and Managing Director
Tasmanian Tonic Company

Dina holds Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s in Public Administration garnered in her native Canada. After a successful senior career with the Federal public service, she moved to Tasmania in 2003 to marry her husband, Andrew. After stints interstate and overseas with their daughter Grace (including Sydney, Moscow and Amsterdam), Dina was fascinated by the number of craft gin distilleries populating Australia. Returning to Tasmania in 2019, she capitalised on the opportunity and created the Tasmanian Tonic Company to provide the perfect accompaniment to the bourgeoning gin industry. From its launch in 2019, from her kitchen and selling in small farmers’ markets, Tasmanian Tonic now operates a large manufacturing space, has expanded into distilling, soft drink manufacturing and contract canning. The brand continues to grow in Australia as well as in international markets. She is proud to own and operate a Tasmanian business and believes that entrepreneurial undertakings are the key to productivity in the Australian economy and that now is the time for female entrepreneurs to make their move.
